PIMEX Lumber Corporation (PLC) is a legally established logging company under the Liberia Business Corporation Act of 1976. The Company was duly incorporated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Liberia on September 25, 2007 with Tax Identification Number 407066006. The entity subscribes to all national and international environmental & conservation standards and protocols including European Standard FSC Regulations. PLC entered into a Forest Management Agreement with the Kiteabo Board of Trustees to manage their 35,000 acres of deeded forestland. The forest is located in Kiteabo Chiefdom, Sarbo District, River Gee County, south-eastern Liberia, near the border of Cote D’Ivoire. The Kiteabo forestland contains merchantable trees species of approximately 700,000 standing trees, exploitable for the benefit of logging activities. Each tree species may produce 3 cubic meters, with total commercial volume of minimum 2.1 million cubic meters of logs to be produced from the entire forestland. Besides, the Company is in consideration for a second and more lucrative Kiteabo Community reserved forestland measuring 250,000 acres and a government owned Teak Plantation of over 1,000 acres nearby. PLC is one of the biggest hardwood producers in Liberia with a monthly yield of 10,000 cubic meters of logs. We produce approximately 100,000 cubic meters of logs every year. We have more than 50 species in the Kiteabo forestland including Abura, Aningre, Bosse, Dahoma, Doussie, Ekki, Framire, Iroko, Kosipo, Kusia, Limbali, Lovoa, Makore, Movingui, Naga, Niangon, Sapele, Sipo, Tali, Tetra, Tiama and Wawa, etc. We make available logs in different varieties as per the demand of our clients.
